To Kimberly, Colorado Springs isn’t just a place — it’s where she’s found a home, built connections, and experienced the power of community. As a proud military spouse, mom, and southeast resident, she is running to represent everyone and focus on what matters most for our city.
Community Leader
From the moment Kimberly arrived in Colorado Springs she dedicated herself to investing in our community. She has served on the board of CONO and graduated from Leadership Pikes Peak, and also served as a Fellow with the Colorado Governor’s Fellowship. She’s served as a committee member for VisitCOS, Women’s Community Leadership Initiative, Inside Out Youth Services, Korean American Society of Colorado Springs, and for the Pikes Peak Early College School Accountability Committee. Kimberly has dedicated herself to leading and serving ALL residents in Colorado Springs.
Public Servant
Kimberly is committed to ensuring our city is a place where everyone thrives. From her board service at The Independence Center, to being a committee member at Inside Out Youth Services, to serving as the 2nd Vice President of the Mountain Post Spouses Club, Kimberly has worked to make sure everyone feels welcome and knows Colorado Springs is a place they can call home.
Army Spouse
Growing up in a military family, Kimberly understands the challenges facing our military families, Now as an Army Spouse, Kimberly has worked to help military families connect to their local community and find their place in Colorado Springs. Her work in this arena led to her being named the 2024 AFI Army Spouse of the year.
Business Leader
Kimberly is a strong advocate for our District 4 small and local business owners. She currently serves as the President of the Colorado Springs Black Chamber and in this upcoming year will serve as an ex-officio board member of the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC. As a business leader, she is focused on ensuring District 4 has a business environment that embraces the full cultural richness of our neighborhoods.
